And if you feel any change in the behavior or any doubt that your dog is not well, don’t hesitate to call your veterinarian. But if you will take care of your dog health properly, it will not get affected. Let me tell you how: Clean their teeth with dog toothpaste or baking soda, twice or thrice a week. Keep their environment healthy, clean their eating bowls, living space, and water bottles. Clean environment saves them from any microbial infections. Mobility problems- If your dog moves slowly, shifts its weight to other leg regularly, avoids playing or jumping, or limps while walking. It is suffering from any mobility problem. Allergies- Most common skin allergies are flea bite allergy, drug reactions, microbial or bacterial allergy etc. Watch for scratching areas on skins, increased skin pigmentation, loss of hair, and head shaking. Skin Cancer- Excess exposure to sunlight is the main symptom. I want to continue to feed them with a comparable food, but with something a little less costly. They are very healthy now and always have been. My vet has stated that their food really does make a big difference in their health. He has never steered me toward one type or another but has said that I am doing a good thing whenever he asks me what type/brand of food I feed them. That is why I would like to continue with something comparable.

Dog allergies are one of the most common conditions affecting dogs. Dog allergies can be very frustrating for both yourself and your dog. The constant itching and scratching, paw licking and chewing, skin rashes or chronic ear infections can make life very unpleasant. For itchy skin, try an oatmeal shampoo bath with cool water – this can ease the itchiest skin. Leave the shampoo on for 10 minutes then rinse well. With the most severe allergies, bathe your pet twice weekly. Also, Calendula ointment (herbal medication) has been successfully used to relieve the itch. Apply a thin coat twice daily to affected areas.

How do I get my dog to stop eating cat **** without using a self cleaning litter box?

Mindflux_98 asked:

Dog eats cat poo out of litter box. Box cannot be high up as cat has diabetes and problems wit hind legs. Enclosed boxes are too small for large cat with health problems as well. P.S Dog is smaller than cat.

philasophos01 asked:
I have read many stories of people’s dogs having terrible reactions to all sorts of spot-on type products. Now I’m worried because my vet says they’re all safe and obviously this isn’t entirely true, even according to the HSUS. So please tell me, which of the monthly flea & tick treatments are safest for dogs? (FYI mine is 1.5 years, 80 lbs; used Advantix once)

How many pet owners actually learn how to take proper care of their pet before getting one?

Buddha13 asked:

So many questions in “Pets” are very basic pet care questions. For instance, the time to ask about your dog having puppies is not when she is delivering them – maybe you should have learned what to do months ago when you realised she was pregnant.
